The Marina at Las Fuentes

The house was fantastic; beautifully decorated and fully-equipped! We were extremely impressed with the pool and gardens which were very clean, peaceful and well maintained. The nearby sandy beaches (1 minutes walk!) were lovely. Alcossebre and Los Fuentes has plenty of restaurants, bars and all necessary facilities, yet maintains its Spanish feel. All in all a great place; fantastic house in a beautiful part of Spain. ..We really did have a wonderful time! Hopefully we'll be coming to visit again soon!

We had a fantastic week here and thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully equipped house! The beach has been great and never fails to keep everyone happy... when the children are away from the playstation!

Pizzeria Mare Nostrum was good and we enjoyed the seafood bought from the fish shop at the end of the high street. We will definitely come back and love the town and area generally.

We had a fantastic holiday! We loved the house. Our children loved the playstation which kept them happy first thing in the morning. We all enjoyed the beaches. We didn't travel too far just enjoyed relaxing in Alcossebre. We did visit the Oceanographic in Valencia which after queuing for quite some time was well worth it. We will definitely recommend the house and area to our friends and we will be back in the not too distant future!

My mission: to organise a May family holiday. My brief (simple but demanding): to please everyone. So how do you please a 5 month old, an active two and a half year old, their parents and grandparents? On-line research led me to Michelle’s house in Alcossebre, but would it really measure up to the superb website? I was delighted to find that the reality surpassed my expectations. To please the children, there was a safe, enclosed patio, new toys to play with, CBeeBies on TV, and a lovely, quiet, sandy beach just down the road. To please Mum and Gran, there was electronic help with the washing and dish washing, two bathrooms and plenty of comfortable seating indoors and out, with books and DVDs for any child-free moments. When out with the buggy, the sea-front boardwalk made beach access easy and also provided a scenic route to get the early morning baguette and pain au chocolat. To please the cooks, there was a well-equipped kitchen (and larder!) and a barbecue. For the men, there were plenty of local bars and an in-house Play Station. To please our men in particular, there was also sky-diving at Castellon (although not available every day in May) and bird watching in the Ebro delta, both places under an hour’s drive away. Mission accomplished? Oh yes!

We love the house and the pool. We had a day out at the caves at Pensicola (where we went on a boat trip). And we went to the Aquarama Water park which was the best water park we have been to. We cant wait to come back!

We had a lovely week here. We loved the house which is the best equipped we have ever stayed in. We really like Alcossebre as it is low rise and has nice bays and plenty of beaches. Enjoyed the pool and town and managed a few day trips to Morella with its lovely old town, castle, restaurants and shops. We also enjoyed Peniscola and the castle there. We went to the Ebro delta for a picnic which was very different and interesting and we went to Castellon a typical Spanish city with an interesting port area.

Have had a fun and enjoyable week. The children loved the playstation, pool and walks along the front. The beach is the nicest we have been on for years! Had a great day out to San Mateu which made us realise that a week is not enough to do the area justice.
