This fantastic area is best appreciated by hiring a car to explore but the location of this property means you dont need one.

Grocery and General Shopping - The house is located in a very convenient place, right by the two best beaches and less than 10 minutes flat walk from the town where you will find excellent supermarkets, butchers, bakers, fishmongers and greengrocers. There is a market in the town during season starting at 18:00, this is an excellent place to get superb food.

Shopping Malls and Supermarkets - There are 2 shopping malls within 20 miles drive. There is plenty of choice and we find that variety is a nice change from the UK and the prices are more reasonable. The city of Castellon is 20 miles away, its an interesting and pleasant place to explore.

Bars and restaurants - Alcossebre and Las Fuentes have plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. There are several restaurants and bars located within 10 minutes walk, the nearest is a few minutes walk.

Getting here - We recommend you search for the best flight deal using a tool like Sky Scanner or Martin Lewis the money savings expert Flight Checker. Consider using a different airline for your return as this is often cheaper.

Directions from the two closest airports : Valencia Airport is 1 hour away, Reus Airport is 90 minutes away both airports are just off the AP7 motorway.

Car Hire tips: We find that using DoyouSpain, Holiday Autos or the Travel Supermarket are cheaper than booking direct.

Airline tips: A number of the low cost airlines have very strict restrictions on baggage weight and size allowances. We have provided digital weighing scales to ensure that you avoid excess baggage charges. Make sure you are familiar with the airline baggage weight and size allowances and you wont have any problems.

Distances from main cities The city of Valencia is a 1 hour drive and Barcelona is a 2 hour drive.

Barcelona is a 2 hour drive or a catch a train from nearby Alcala de Xivert or Vinaros.
